Keith Kochajda was kind enough to let me in on his Corktown Brewing Company Project. As the Art Director he took his passion for illustration and design to create a brand of beer. His idea was to take local fictional and nonfictional characters of Detroit and put them on a variety of beers. Taking a number of illustrators, Keith directed us to create these characters and back stories. It was a wonderful project to work on.

I decided to illustrate Antonie de la Monthe Cadillac and this is my story that is on the label:

"Antonie de la Mothe Cadillac founded Le Détroit in July 26, 1701. After 1730 he has found himself stuck traveling through different time periods of Détroit. Most recently, he visited the present time of 2009 where he picked up a sensational Amber Ale at the Corktown Brewery Company. He has been glued to his seat ever since!"
